Matters needing attention in the use of magnetic pump

1. Problems caused by cavitation of magnetic pump: cavitation of the pump is mainly caused by high resistance of the inlet pipe of the pump, more gas in the conveying medium, inadequate irrigation pump, insufficient energy head at the inlet of the pump, etc. Cavitation is the most harmful to the pump, when cavitation occurs, the pump vibration, serious damage to the balance, will lead to damage to the pump bearings, rotor or impeller. This is a common cause of magnetic pump failure.


2 .no medium or medium flow: the rotor spindle and the stable bearing dry friction, burning broken bearing. Magnetic pump is used to lubricate and cool the sliding bearing by conveying medium. In the absence of open inlet valve or outlet valve, the sliding bearing is damaged due to high temperature caused by no conveying medium lubrication and cooling.


3. Prevent particles from entering


1. Ferromagnetic impurities and particles are not allowed to enter the magnetic actuator and bearing friction pair.

2. The medium that is easy to crystallize or precipitate should be washed in time after delivery (pour clean water into the pump chamber after stopping the pump, and discharge clean after 1min operation) to ensure the service life of the sliding bearing.

3. The medium containing solid particles shall be filtered at the entrance of the pump pipe.


Four, isolation sleeve damage: magnetic pump magnetic coupling is cooled by the pump medium, if there are hard particles in the medium, it is easy to cause the isolation sleeve scratch or cut through, sometimes if the maintenance method is not appropriate may also cause the isolation sleeve damage.


Fifth, prevent dry friction

1. Idling is strictly prohibited.

2. Media withdrawal is strictly prohibited.

3. When the outlet valve is closed, the continuous running time of the pump shall not exceed 2min to prevent the magnetic actuator from overheating and failure.


Prevent demagnetization

1. Magnetic torque cannot be designed too small.

2. It should be operated under specified temperature conditions, and it is strictly prohibited that the medium temperature exceeds the standard. Platinum resistance temperature sensor can be installed on the outer surface of the magnetic pump isolation sleeve to detect the temperature rise in the annulus area, so as to give an alarm or stop when the temperature exceeds the limit.
